Getting Back Into Running Topic

I've been out of the running lifestyle far too long, and now it's time for me to get back at it. I'm looking at getting off some pounds through running 3 days a week in addition to strength training 3 days a week and taking a 2-day a week spin class. 48, Female. Is anyone else out there still running or trying to get back?

Ive just joined this group. Im 40 and love running. Back on NYE I damaged my knee and as it goes I put on about 7 kilos and have to get it off as its making me uncomfortable. Ill be starting back in the gym this week in the hopes to get my body fit for next years ultimate test of fitness here is Australia the 777 (7 marathons, 7 days, 7 states) If im to compete, I need to be tip top and fighting fit.
Im definitely in need of some serious motivation and YES im SOOOOO trying to get back!
