Getting back on track Topic

Hi everyone I'm new to this help and wanted to have any support/feedback on the most effective way to use it!

I've lost 8 stone already but recently I seem to have lost my way food wise. I still go to the gym 6 times per week so my fitness iSnt an issue but I'm finding more and more "cheat" food sneaking into my food plan and all it seems to do is make me hate myself and promote negative thinking.

I would love to hear from anyone who has had to get back on the band wagon and how they did it to hit their weight loss goals. I need to lose another two stone essentially and I want to get by January!!!

HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Hi, i had the same problem. Usualy, after you lose a lot of weight, you don't have enough motivation to continue. I lost 33 kg, that's 5 stones in 8 months. After that I started to eat lots of things i shouldn't because i felt i deserved it. No I have to lose 1 stone and i'm struggaling with this for 6 months and nothing :( i started running for 2 weeks now and a lost 1 kg. That gave me motivation. That and ma forite skirt that i want to fit in. So, my advice is just to talk to yourself and push you as hard as you can so that you don't give up now. Every morning thing of yourself as you wold like to be and think you can' t eat anything bad because this is going to get you further from your goal. And, very important, have a cheat day. This will relax you a lot.

What works for me....

I worked hard to take the weight off. I don't want to work that hard again. It is much easier to control what you eat if you just tell yourself, "I don't need that, I want it". Big difference.
I hope you find your way....

Lots of good tips Holly, lot of sound sense, cheers it all helps as we are in it together so to speak.

Of course everything is personal but I am finding that the trick to keeping the weight off for me is to ban nothing from my diet but remember to keep everything in moderation. For example, I still have ice cream but have it in a ramekin (or if I'm being lazy and eating from the tub then limiting it to a certain number of teaspoons and then put it away again) and I have a stash of Creme eggs still from Easter that I can have on very special occasions. If I go out for a bigger than usual lunch/dinner then I modify my other meals to ensure that I don't go way off track calorie wise - again, I don't miss out, simply modify my plans.

Wolfie I really like your advice. I spent ALOT of time thinking about what I can't eat and then overeat.

Glad it helped. Hope you're on track to where you want to be.

I'm with Wolfie. I start my day with 30 grams of M&M peanuts and a cup of coffee. I have learned to take the chocolate much more slowly and savor each one; and, of course, coffee and chocolate, the go-together comfort foods start my day off so well. A good attitude starting out always helps me.

When I told my diabetic doctor what I have for breakfast, he replied with a slightly grump, "Well, at least it has some protein."
