Group Participation Topic

I see there are quite a few new members here. I sure would like to see this group a little more active, as we are supposed to be motivatiing each other. Starting today I am going to try and post something on here every day I am near my computer. See what happens. I am starting with a Quote of the day.

I would like to know what is and isn't working for everyone

#"Better to do something perfectly, than to do nothing flawlessly,"

Morning. I guess that sums up what is working. I try to be deligent and honest about my food posts. Even on the days when eating isn't good, I still punch it in my blackberry and then analyze where I went off later. Also charting all my foods has made me very aware of where I am getting extra calories, fat and especially sodium. Being honest with food entries and doing a honest anaylises of that has been working for me.

Also I try to excercise every day. I try to do 3 days of weight training and 3 days of walking, and working on moving that up to running a little. That to is very imperfect. Some weeks I don't get in all my workouts, but sometimes it goes very well. I believe exercise is a very important part of this journey, so something(whatever you enjoy) is better than nothing.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

"Better to do something imperfectly, than to do nothing flawlessly." It was too early in the morning. I GOT IT WRONG THE FIRST TIME.

Good morning. I did not do so well with eating yesterday. I had grandskids for an overnight and at a lot of junk that I keep for them. Chicken fingers, cookies, a freezie. OH DEAR. Today is another day though.

I am gone for the weekend. Have a great weekend everyone. I will post again on Monday.

"Get exicted and enthusiastic about your own dream. This excitment is like a forest fire,-you can smell it, taste it, and see if from a mile away." Denis Watley.

Good morning. I had a pretty good weekend for eating, but not so much so for exercise. Even yesterday I dou.d not get back on track. This morning I am headed to the gym to make up for that.

I had some real good news yesterday. I went to my Doctor and he took me off my high blood presure medication that I have been on for about 15 years. Amazing.

HaVE A great day and a great week everyone.

That is so amazing!! Congratulations!! Keep up the great work!

Thanks Racheybabes. I feel great.

I am amazed how so many quotes can apply to losing weight. This one could also say, when you can't imagine reaching the end of the road. I have more and more faith in this program as I use it. At the beginning I could not imagine I could reach my goal, and now I am thinking I should reset it lower, and can even imagine reaching that.

I felt so good last Monday, and so disappointed this Monday. I weighed, and am only down .5 lbs in the last two weeks. I better get that exercise going better. I do have faith in this program and just have to stick with it.

If only I found that easy. Some day, I hope.
