Hello everyone,
I, I've never posted on any group or forum in MyNetDiary. I first used the App because I was concerned about nutrition tracking after using MyFxxxxxPxx for a couple years. It simply didn't track significant data. So I turned to MyNetDiary for nutrition.

I went from 255-260 down to about 185 in the course of 3 years. Health issues and the need for prednisone and I gained back weight to 212. Thankfully I am off the pred now.

I started using the App again but I realize my old (20+ years) scale has seen better days.

I am looking for a quality scale that DOES NOT require me to create an account with the scale provider. Great if it syncs thru my iPhone to Apple HealthKit - or - to MyNetDiary which in turn syncs to Healhkit.

I bought one which asked to create an account with them and I'm returning it. I'm no interesting in giving my personal data (email, phone, Zip Code) to ANOTHER company who will sell it. Never had a problem with Apple or (that I know of) with MyNetDiary using my info.

If such a scale had other features (body fat, skeletal mass, water %, etc) it measured and those also went into MyNetDiary or Healthkit that would be GREAT!. Price budget OK up to say $150.

I like that MyNetDiary tracks many nutritional items and puts them into Healthkit. I've entered a few foods myself!

Thanks it advance!

Wow that’s a fantastic weight loss! Congrats! I like this diary better than MFP as well.

Update on my old post. I bought an ETEKcity smart scale form$20 on Amazon, then a few weeks later bought a second one. The first one stays in the master bathroom and the second one I use for when I travel overnight. I am down to a range of 170-175. This was accomplished by taking a nutrition class that required me to keep a daily diary and share the information weekly with the program then a coach would review my diary, including my daily weight records and suggest changes. The diet focuses on total calories and the macros protein, carbs and fat. I stayed in the kick start program for 12 or 14 weeks, then joined the private client program. I’ve been flying solo for over a year.
What I like about the program is there were plenty live courses offered and the daily accountability and the private coaching. It made me think differently about the choices I make when i am intaking food and drink. I’ve also learned the importance of water intake. It has a big effect on digestion and consistency in weighing.
