Hi Topic

Hello all. I am new to this site and hope that I can build an online support system. I have never counted calories and tracked exercising but now it's time for something new.

I'm new here too. I definately could use community support to help reach my goals. I really need a "kick" sometimes to get off the "couch" and get moving.

I just switched from the "Lose It" app to "MyNetDiary." I'm pretty excited. I lost over 40lbs with the last app, but I managed to find those 40lbs and then some without the maintenance support this seems to offer. Best wishes to everyone! :)

I just switched as well, i like the nutrient information better i think, as well as the support, and bar code reader

Is there anyone still on this, there's not a lot of new posts. Anyway I'm new and hope to find some support here.

Hi there...glad to see someone else here.

Finally another human :) How are you doing Hope_Bay? Have you only started here to? How do you find it?

Hi Lost..glad to see someone else around. There doesn't seem to be many people posting which I was a bit down about. I need motivation if I'm going to be able to make this work. I started about a month ago. I was really good for about two weeks and then went downhill around Halloween. I am back on track this week and starting to feel better. I started with an acupuncturist about a month ago (for fertility issues) and she has recommended a diet (Spleen Qi) where I'm not suppose to have sugar, dairy or carbs /wheat based products. It has been extremely challenging because I'm addicted (literally)to sugar (chocolate and candy). That has been my biggest challenge. I would have alot of it every day. I've had candy once in the past 5 days (small amount) which I'm pretty happy about that. The dairy is easy to cut out - even though I love it. The 3rd component - carbs wheat stuff, I have been following loosely. I've just been trying to cut out "white" things (bread, pasta) and have whole grains. Next week I get back on track with working out. I've finally been able to get a friend to join me as motivation. I like doing Muay Thai Kickboxing but its hard for me to get out of the house to do it. Also, the outdoor ice skating rinks open next week and I hope to start to get out to hockey every week or so. I'm based in Toronto, Canada.

How are things going for you?
