Hi! Excited to be part of 30-Somethings Group Topic


Hello, I'm looking forward to finally committing and sharing journey with you all! Look forward to our many discussions and keeping each other on track. I'm a mom and work from home which is a challenge for me not to walk down the hall into the kitchen. I started on January 14 and my start weight is 227 and I'm looking to go be in healthy weight range of 124 lbs and my goal date is 1 year. Good luck to each one of you on your amazing journey!

Welcome and good luck! I have quick suggestion that I use in my office. Everytime I want a snack, I go for a walk around the block (about a half mile), while drinking 16 oz water, first. The exercise justifies the calories, so long as its under 100 (I like Quaker Stila bars). On a good day I will walk 2 miles and most the time, when I get back I find I either forget to eat (cause something has come up) or I am not hungry anymore.
