Hi
I also found this app for my iPhone while searching for the " cure" to end this battle of the bulge! Really enjoying the features and the ease of tracking.
I work 12 hour shifts and struggle with the midnights and what to eat durning those times. The thirties seemed to hold on to the fat easier.... Takes huge effort I'm finding to get on top of it! Positive outlook and looking forward to meeting u all. : )

Welcome to the club! I found the best way to beat the 'snacking' problem is to buy some fresh fruit each day on the way into the office. That way I feel like I have a 'treat' and can snack all day long. My favorite right now is satsuma oranges and plums.
Also - the fun part about the program is watching your progress. I love watching the weight chart go down... even if it moves slowly its fun to see the graphic representation!
Good luck!

I'm with you Ireland, I work graveyard shifts and average 10-12hr workdays....I usually eat breakfast before I leave and pack two 400-450 calorie meals to have at work 4.5 hrs in then 4.5 hrs later...usually my meals feature heavy on fruits and veggie and lean proteins.

I really need to eat more fruit at work, not a big salad eater... I try, but at 2 am I really don't feel like chewing on green things!! Lol
I sometimes do cereal at that time or yogurt.
I love homeade soups, the high sodium is concerning me... I haven't been making it...??

Hi !
I love fresh fruit, my problem is that when I eat one, it's so sweet and nice taste that I want another one, then another one..... I have to pay attention not to eat too many fruits, as this is a lot of Carbs too.
My thing : I found some high-Proteins bars which are not great but OK, and the fact that there is a lot of prots inside helps me feel "full" rather than willing to take another one... So if I really want fruit, I take one fruit, one glass of water and one proteins bar, and I am OK.
Be careful : many of those pretended "proteins bars" are full of carbs and fat ! The thing I have noticed : the better the taste, the worse the components...
My bar is this : 45g, 149 kCal, including 5.7g Fat, 11g Carbs and 15g Proteins.
I have another proteins snack which is nice and like this : 33g of powder (add water then microwave), 111 kCal, including 2g Fat, 4.9g Carbs and 18.4g Proteins.
Bye !

Thx, Naaalex
I need to find better snack choices!!
This protein shake that u microwave sounds interesting... Do u use chocolate?
2 snacks I really love r .. Vanilla light yogurt with frozen berry mix.. But I microwave the fruit till they r hot and mix it with the yogurt!!! Also I use the bullet mixer to do frozen fruit with protein powder and water.. These r good but I need to actually do them more! Silly how we know what we should eat but make bad choices!! Makes me mad.. But tomorrow is another day!
