Hi everyone I'm new in here! Finding the calorie count really useful and it's nice to track it all what I'm doing in a day! Just want to ask anyone doing the high protein diet as I could do with a helping hand on a shopping list. Carbs are my big downfall and with two children it's not easy to come away from. I want to do this high protein diet with that feeling of not needing to eat anything in the carbs to make me feel I'm full up! I have a holiday in May to Greece so gotta get toned up in time . Thanks for reading my message x

I'm not necessarily doing a high protein diet, but in order to get protein from non meat sources, I'm trying to include beans, Greek yogurt, some cheese and other plant sources of protein. Beans are great -- very versatile and filling.

I have also done well with adding a little more healthy fat back into my meals. But because the calories density of fats/oils is so high, I am careful to limit my portion size. The oils and fats that I especially like are avocado, nuts, seeds, and natural plant oils like extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed sesame oil, etc.
