How can you turn off metric throughtout entire site Topic

When I put a food name in most of the choices are in metric (i.e. grams). I want ounces or cups or size of item and for metric to not be listed at all.

Hello,

Sorry about the trouble, and thank you for reaching out.

We use the standard servings available and "do not divide"/"do not switch" between metric or imperial units. We show all units possible without hiding anything. We put all the units of measurement that could be estimated according to the information on the vendor's food label.
Suppose no particular unit of measurement is in the list of available servings for the chosen food. That means we cannot convert the known serving description into the additional desired unit of measure. So such a serving would be missing from the list.

Please see the following support articles:

* More measurement units in food servings. Conversion between volume and weight - https://www.mynetdiary.com/supportArticle.do?articleId=21102

Some items do not have the standard units of measurement and have just generic serving descriptions (e.g., "1 berry," "5 crackers," "half sandwich," and so on.) In such cases, pick the approximate serving available. Please review the Portion Guide pictures with an explanation of approximate portion sizes. The Portion Guide can be opened from the food entry screen; on the Android app, from the bottom, and on the iPhone app, from the right side.
