How do I add recipes on the web site? Topic

Do you mean how to make a recipe? There's a link that says "recipe" where you would log your foods. Click that and it will bring up a separate screen where you put in all the food and create your recipe.

I found the page where you are supposed to be able to create your recipe but it is unclear how you go about it. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to fill in the form to add your recipe?

I agree. It only allows me to put in one ingredient.

This entire app is unprofessional. Makes me wonder if the 'testimonials' were paid.

Virgo82 I've been using MND Max for a little over 1 1/2 yrs. Along with the support of a wt mgmt doctor (no drugs), Fitbit, and group exercise classes 5-6 times per week (Zumba, Body Pump, Total Body Blast & Spinning), I've lost 50 pounds and have adjusted my goal weight to lose 8 more. When I reach that new goal I will continue to use MND Max as one tool to maintain my weight for life. I don't know what difficulty you've had in using MND or what your weight goals might be. I have found that Tech Support is not very responsive when I have a techie question but I've always been able to figure it out myself or find the answer on the net. I pay about $60 a year for the Max version of MND and no one is paying me to use this app.

Everyone else above who asked about adding recipes: I use MND Max and this is what I do. In the meals section of the app, go to the meal where you want to add the recipe (Bkfst, Lunch, Dinner). Enter all of the ingredients for the recipe. Then go to the upper right corner to the tab that looks like 3 horizontal lines. Click this menu open and choose "new recipe." Then give the recipe a name and number of servings. Save, and voila! The program enters one serving of your recipe for your meal. If you are having a larger or smaller serving size you can then adjust that in your meal recording. The benefit of entering a recipe is that if you make this recipe often, you can just enter the name of the recipe in meals and get the nutritional content. I would NOT try to use MND to store recipes that you don't have written down somewhere else because I have not figured out away to look up the recipe in MND in order to get the list of ingredients to make it again. I have some favorite recipes that I make frequently and after entering the recipe once all I have to do is enter the name of the dish (baked oatmeal) and the app gives me the nutritional content for one serving.

I wouldn't say the app is unprofessional, but it certainly isn't very fine tuned. To pay for anything more than the "pro" version - which still has problems in July, 2016 - is simply paying too much. I don't understand why anyone would subscribe to ANY fitness application. The cost to benefit ratio simply isn't worth it - it's just a waste of money that could be better spent on upgrading a gym membership or saving up for a home gym. Seriously, a power rack and a few extra items are all a person needs, but of course, putting oneself under a barbell isn't very popular or trendy and doesn't make for good instragram pics. All that to say, is that this app does okay, but it doesn't meet the needs of powerlifters by any stretch of the imagination. And yes, I know that isn't what this app is designed for because if it were, it wouldn't be able to make money from the "fitness industry." The website and the app itself are both unintuitive for adding custom foods, and editing and deleting things is damn near impossible. Not to mention my current problem of the app and website not syncing. I was pretty much forced to create an online account, just to EDIT AND DELETE one freaking recipe! Ridiculous, and thus the rant.

I've been using my net diary for 4 years the pro version I find is awesome.

It can get annoying to see a feature on the iPhone and then expect the same feature to import a recipe based on the URL on the desktop version, only to find out you can't locate a way to do this. I think they could tweak this app given the amount of money paid by everyone over the years.

I agree with you
