How often should I weigh myself Topic


i've read articles that give different advice - some say weigh daily, others once a week and it's confusing. Also, I'm struggling with being constipated. I'm trying to drink more water and I eat plenty of vegetables and that helps most of the time but not completely. I do take laxatives every once in a while but I don't want to depend on tablets to get myself regular again.

On the other hand, if it creates anxiety or struggles with eating-disordered thoughts, perhaps you can develop a different measure of success. For example, you might evaluate whether your clothes fit better or whether your energy increases.

You can really do it as often as you want.. there’s no particular schedule. Daily provides the most detailed graphing so you can see changes sooner, I typically do it every day unless I’m not able to do a good poo in morning.
