Hi forty somethings. I've been hovering around this site for a couple of months and am finally jumping in. Right now I'm trying to balance work, family, grad school and self care. This is my self care. So I'm hoping losing weight will give me more energy to accomplish this. To get to my upper weight healthy weight level I need to lose 70 lbs. But my first goal is to get below 200. WooHoo! Here we go!!!

Howdy! Just started this week and am very excited! I had some luck on MyFoodDiary but gained most of it back. So I found this on my Iphone and am loving it. I love that there are no excuses for logging anymore. I always have my phone on me! YEAH! So I have about 50 lbs to lose... ugh. Ready for some fun. Want to be "buddies"? lol!

I really like keeping track of things. Keeps me honest. I hesitate to eat something I wouldn't want to write down.
I haven't made popcorn for a month, so today I saved up enough calories to eat some. It feels good to know I did it the right way. At 49, I feel I need to get with it before I get too far gone! :D
