Any suggestions on how to NOT hate food? I find that I'm slipping back to the I don't want to eat cause I'm not hungry. I'm just plain tired of thinking about food! But I have to think about it to drop this weight--which will help with my other problems. But on a good note, I played WII sports the other day. What fun that was!!

I have a suggestion - try simply using single-portion frozen healthier entress for a whle to break up the cooking burden. You don't have to think about it, and if you simply choose one of the healthier brand lines, you'll do fine. That might help you hate food less - not having to do all the shopping, prep, cooking, and storage when you cook from scratch.
The brands are usually named in obvious ways and are often together in the freezer section. For natural/organic types, you might have to go to a different aisle (if that is important to you).
Also, there is research to support the use of meal replacement shakes. You could replace one meal with it - at least you could not have to think about 1 meal a day if you did this.
Let me know if those ideas help.
Best,
Kathy

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I read the suggestion. I did actually buy some frozen entrees (Healthy Choice) but haven't really done more than that. Last week was not so great but I'm feeling like I'm back in the swing of things and am going to try your suggestion.

Just wanted to give you a quick update on my hatred of food. Well, guess what? I don't any more. I've made some really yummy stuff that was easy and I enjoyed eating it. I found out that I was eating low quality stuff which didn't have a great deal of flavor. Now, I give myself permission to throw away veggies/fruit that are't fresh and I buy new! Food is not the enemy. SUGAR is! I've been off of sugar since March 2 (I think) and now I don't enjoy the taste of it. Hurrah!

Wow -that is great news! I agree, throw out food you are not going to eat and eat the good stuff that is fresh and prepared the way YOU LIKE IT. And the sugar thing I can relate to - it is my Achilles heel. I'm pretty good at controlling it, but there are nights where I get that taste for it and start with a trigger food and get into trouble. Fortunately, there is always the next day to recoup.
Best,
kathy
