Example:
Peanut butter, https://www.smuckers.com/products/peanut-butter/natural-peanut-butter/natural-creamy-peanut-butter

The label shows 16gr fat, 3gr saturated fat. So there are 13gr of other fat not specified but it must be unsaturated (both poly and mono in this case). The app only shows the 3gr of saturated fat.

Example:
Sunflower seeds are listed as an example of foods rich in Vitamin E but I can't find any sunflower seed entries that report Vitamin E

It seems like I have to do these as manual entries, which eliminates the convenience of the food database if I am always checking to see if it's complete for any given food I add.

Hi Mistercoffee66,

Thanks for your comments. Food labels are only required to list the saturated fat content and so the polyunsaturated and monounsaturated will only be available if voluntarily listed.

It is also not mandatory for vitamin E to be listed on a food label. Sorry, our database is at the mercy of what is listed on a food label.

The most complete nutrition information will be for staple foods as it is derived from the USDA database so if you do want the most comprehensive nutrient listing, choose those foods as much as possible.

Hope this helps. Be well, Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
