Hi folks,

I am Magnolia26 .. that's minus the period from my Youtube screen name, Magnolia.26. My surgery date was June 1, 2015. I am currently active on Youtube with the VSG and gastric surgery community since March 2015 when I decided to get my sleeve. You can find me at Instagram at Magnolia VSG and on Youtube at Magnolia.26. Looking forward to new WLS friends and exchanging support. I'm new to this application and am using it primarily to track my fluid, protein, and carb intake.

I'm working towards having surgery and the truth is I'm kinda nervous...but I know this is probably the one chance I have to save my life so I'm ready. My doc told me the sleeve is the best idea for me so even though I expected the gastric bypass it looks like the sleeve wins out. I have lost over 160 lbs YTD and still have nearly 400 to go...I think keeping in touch with others who are going through or will go through the process is a huge advantage. Looking gorward to getting to know some of you...as many as possible as a matter of fact!

My name is Maria. I had VSG surgery on December 9,2014
It was the best decision I made for my health from my highest weight of 232 I am down 97 pounds. I no longer take any diabetes meds or insulin.
