Hi,
I'm new to the group. My weight lose journey has begun and I must say I'm afraid to fail. I am getting married next year and I really can't imagine myself in a wedding dress. I don't even like the way I look in regular clothes. I know this is going to be hard but I plan on sticking it out. I hope to make new friends here and be encouraged as well as encourage others

Hi ImperfectlyMe! Welcome to the team. Our team is usually quiet until the new year, but I'll be checking and posting nonetheless.
Try to focus on just making a few achievable changes at a time. That way, it won't be so overwhelming. I wrote a post for newbies so be sure to read it and let me know what you think: http://www.mynetdiary.com/tips-for-losing-weight.html

Hi, just signed up with mynetdiary. Having a hard time finding an available group that is current and not focused on diabetes. Thought I'd join this team... Hoping you'll be gearing up for 2016?

Hi everyone. I am hoping I can find some friends here. I need to lose 10-15 pounds and have been trying to do this for over a year. I can never stay motivated, and once I start on sweets, I can't stop. I need some people to hold me accountable. I am very happy to do the same for you all. ??

Hi NeedToGetSerious! - welcome to MyNetDiary! Sometimes losing that last 10-15 lbs can be a real challenge. I found that being as consistent as you can with tracking and exercise really helps to nudge into goal weight. Also, having the mindset that that you are CHOOSING to do this for yourself. You are taking care of yourself by doing this vs. being made to do it by someone else. Or you "should" do it. Very important difference.
You mentioned sweets. Can you avoid buying them or having them where you live or where you work?
Best,
Kathy
