Introduction Topic


Hello! My name is Heidi and I live in Michigan. My current goal is to lose weight and increase physical fitness in order to ride a Century (100 mile bike ride) by fall. My husband and I are avid cyclists... and I ride long distances, but never that far!!! I also am a Certified Pilates teacher and LOVE Pilates. I just recently got equipment in my home, so I get to practice much more often than if I had to squeeze it in while I'm at work. So far I'm loving it! In addition to Pilates and cycling, I've been running to increase my cardio fitness and to burn lots of calories. I would like to lose an additional 10-15 pounds of body fat before fall. The century will be a lot more work if I have to lug around the weight of my bicycle in addition to the extra fat on my bottom! Cheers!
