So tonight were having a stew.
I have the package of meat (and barcode) the sauces (and bc's), the vegetable pack (and bg's) and the butter, milk, etc. We've made it before, it feeds our family of 5, a bowl each.
Is there a way to add all of that together in the app and then divide by 5 (1 serving) to get a close estimate of what I just had? Otherwise, I need to add each item in a list, take 1/5 of the whole, and that seems like a lot of effort.

Hi Soulkeeper- Yes you can create and analyze recipes on the website and phone Recipes are created from meals, so as the first step, enter all ingredients in any meal (e.g. breakfast or snack).
Next, on the web site, use the "Recipe" link displayed in the meal row, in the Amount column. In mobile apps, use the "Recipe" button.
Enter a recipe name and then click/tap Save - a new custom food will be created based on the ingredients and will replace the ingredients in the meal. Next time you eat these foods, you only need to start typing your new recipe name. I would suggest weighing the ingredients raw and then weighing the total cooked and then divide by 5. You will get a much more accurate calorie and macronutrient count as you will be taking into account evaporative losses. As you are likely aware meat shrinks when cooked. For example 4 oz o raw meat = about 3 oz cooked. Here is an article that further addresses how to create a recipe in MND. Yes, you are correct, it takes some time, however if you do this once, it will be accurately entered in the system and you can access it down the road.
