I love my job! I am an online counselor. I have enjoyed helping people since I was little. It can get very busy and very real some nights. My heart feels for people.

I just got asked by a new friend if I lack self-confidence? Why? Because I am an open book, feel for people and share a little vulnerability? Isn't that how you get to know people? And I wanted to ask him if he grew up in an environment where emotions were not seen or heard or talked about.

Part of me wants to explain to help him understand, but the other part knows it is a waste of time for someone who was raised to be non-emotional.

I just ended up telling him to make no mistakes I love myself, have great self-confidence I just don't trust other people at first, because people take my sweet side as a weakness and then, then they learn I am fiesty and wired if you make me mad.
