It's November - let's check in now! Topic

Hi Folks, I know people are really busy at this time of year but it is also a high risk time for going off the rails in terms of a weight control plan.

How is your plan going?

Brenda wrote a very helpful blog post about temporarily switching goals to get through the holiday season without undue stress - maintain don't gain. Link: http://www.mynetdiary.com/maintain_dont_gain_while_on_vacation.html (June 26, 2015 published).

Switching to a maintenance mode between Thanksgiving - New Year's Day is a good idea for most of us. Personally, I enjoy socializing and yes, with special foods that come with the holidays. But I don't stuff myself - I always practice portion control and stop when I am full.

Share your ideas with how you are doing now and how you will be handling the holidays.

Best,
Kathy

Thanksgiving week for those of us in the U.S. Do you have a plan for handling the holiday week? Leftovers are especially troublesome. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanksgiving is over! Get rid of those high caloric foods or you'll just consume them and have to deal with the calories surplus (which is great if you are trying to gain weight but not so great if you are trying to lose weight).

Have a great weekend!

Best,
Kathy
