Weigh-in frequency: that really depends upon your tolerance for fluctuating numbers! Body weight will naturally go up and down, so if you decide to weigh yourself daily, then try to do it at the same time under the same conditions (e.g. when you first wake up, after going to the bathroom, but before breakfast).
I weighed myself only once per week during weight loss since the up & down of the scale annoyed me. However, now that I am at maintenance, I typically weigh myself about 3x/week just out of curiosity.
So, go with what you prefer, and what motivates you without making you obsessive.

Hi all. I am Fran I am in maint. Have been at goal since Aug. 2010 I have lost and manage to keep of 140 pounds. I still keep a dairy. I am part of a hospital based weight management program which I still attend although not as frequently (at least twice per month). I look for groups that not only can help me but after all this time I can helkp others. FYI I did not have surgery, not that that is not a good and viable tool for some. I am a mature woman of 59,post MI and have lost more than my body weight. If I cam do it anyone can. Is it easy-NO. Is it doable -YES.
I also bring a Pharmacist view on issues.
Hope to get to know all of you. You CAN do this. Down side is Maint. is a killer

Got some exercise by taking my dogs out for some cross training today. My two dogs each weigh over 120 so exercising them can be a real work out! The weather has been so great this weekend I just had to take advantage of it & let them burn off some of the winter stir crazy. Sure is a fun way to get my own exercise :D

How's it going, everyone? Weekend going okay? I just started wearing my new FitBit One device. So far, I have only walked a miserable 217 steps since I work part of the day. So, this tells me to get up from the computer and make an excuse to use the stairs, get more water, or whatever!
