Hi Everyone! I'm enjoying my pedometer - haven't used one in quite a while. It's helping me move more. What are you all up to these days?

I've just bought one of those Fitbit things and seems to work well.

Hi Goragon, I haven't used Fitbit but I know lots of folks like it. Bodybugg is another device that folks like. I find that my exercise is pretty low tech but I do like using a heart rate monitor to check new activities/intensity of activity but wearing a chest strap during activity is annoying.

I'm also finding that my pedometer is really motivating me now - especially since I have added more clinic days to my schedule. It gives me a huge incentive to walk on my lunch break, before clinic starts, and after I drive home (which can sometimes take over an hour).

In really hot & humid weather, try to stay as hydrated as possible. Fruits & veggies also have a very high water content, and extra of those will help you replenish both water and electrolytes!
