Time to take control and move the needle down. Plan to stick with this for the long haul and be more active.

You can do this too! Being a pre-diabetic, my main objective is to lower my A1C, and this is working for me. As for my weight, I am currently on a plateau but not too concerned because my most recent A1C was 4.9. That is the lowest it has been since I was diagnosed in April, 2012. I walk on the treadmill an hour every day and eat a balanced diet of 1200 calories. Good Luck! Fay

I am 65 and active and about 17# overweight. I have lost 16# mostly because of teeth problems. I am active and have been logging my food and exercising but now that I have no problem eating I am finding it very difficult to follow my calorie restriction. I am trying to stay at 1400 net calories, and I do well during the day but at nite I just eat and eat. I am exercising and getting stronger which makes me happy but I need control my intake! Any suggestions???
