thanks so much! :)

You are welcome :) Joanna (Dietician)

Hi Joanna!

Hows it going with you? Anyways with me, I have maintained myself between 225-230 for a little bit over a month, and took a break from weight loss, really wanted to see if I would maintain myself or would I go up drastically, but thank God, I have been easily able to maintain the 225-230.... Today I am 226.4lbs, which is great, and I am about to start my journey once again to lose this last 26lbs of weight!!! Let the journey begin again.....

Hi Shiznik - sounds like a solid plan! This is Kathy, the other dietitian. I did that too when I was losing weight - I paused for a while and then I resumed again. Keep up the great work!

thanks so much Kathy! believe it or not, all of the weight that I have lost so far, being 26lbs away from my goal, I havent done one bit of exercise, lol. I think I should start now, dont you agree?

messed up badly, at 3 very large donuts yesterday, and gained 2lbs, 28lbs to lose now, oh well, you keep living and learning, lol

ate

Shiznik, I hope you don’t mind me jumping in here but just want to say what an amazing job you’re doing so far! A few donuts isn’t going to undo all the progress you’ve made. Just move forward carrying on with your great work and consider yesterday a small bump in the road.

Wow I’m impressed! Shiznik keep it up! I am reading a book “The Power of Habit” now and it clearly shows how important community is in losing weight so I decided to find weight loss friends :)

Hi Shiznik- Keep up the strong work with your weight loss! There will be slips along the way (such as the donuts). And the sooner you get back on the track the faster you will recover mentally and on the scale. Here is an article that I enjoy because it speaks to the lifestyle change that is needed for long term weight loss. https://www.mynetdiary.com/the-curvy-road-to-weight-loss-and-back.html
As for planned activity. There are soooo many benefits to being active.
Though technically, research shows that caloric restriction will provide greater weight loss results than just losing weight through physical activity. With that being said, finding some planned activity that you enjoy can give you more energy, burn a few calories and help to modify your body shape. Have a great week! Joanna (Dietician)
