today 223.6! very close now, finally!!!! After 11 years, hehehehe....

I knew it, I ate so much stuff yesterday not even funny, lol

I gained 1.4lbs

Today 225.0

Hi Shiznik, hang in there! We are all only human. But part of that could be water weight from a higher sodium intake (which is common when people eat more) so keep weighing in to see if it comes down over the next few days. You can DO THIS! :) Kathy (Dietitian)

Hey Kathy, I messed up for about 5 days, I ate anything I wanted to eat pretty much, donuts, you name it, I started going up, and up, little by little, I got up to 227.4! I was like, okay, Brian, what the heck are you doing, so the last few days I tried to return the way I was eating, a tad difficult, but it got better and better. Just Happy that today I am 226.2, on my journey down again.... I have really been able to maintain myself in the mid 20s, the lowest I got was 222, but I am now 4lbs away from 222, but the what I keep asking myself is, how long is going to take to lose my 26.2lbs? Especially when I seem kinda stuck in the 20s now...Your help would be greatly appreciated.....thanks!

Good Morning Shiznik- Kathy is out of the office today. It sounds like you had a lapse or a temporary shift back to old eating habits. This is totally normal and happens to everyone (whether they want to admit it or not) when they are making substantial changes to their diet. Nice work getting back on track. Now that you have some perspective, you may want to take some time to reflect to see if there were any identifiable triggers that contributed to falling off track. Such as, lack of sleep, stress, frustration that the scale is not reflecting your hard work, feeling like you "deserve to eat whatever you want, etc."
I really like the books by Karen Koenig. She has a book out called Outsmarting Overeating.

Hang in there! You are very close to your goal. Remember it is all about progress, not perfection! A year from now, will this lapse really matter???? Best, Joanna (Dietician)

You are awesome Joanna! the thing I love is that You and Kathy, are truly there helping all of us that are in need, and it really is fantastic....We need help from time to time....I am going to check that book out, and see If it something that I should read.... all I know is, within 3 months, I better be 200lbs, hehehehehe!!!!
