I'm currently trying low carb eating. Not quite keto dieting but a bit more manageable than that. I lost some weight quite quickly and am enjoying it. Has anyone else tried this or is trying it? I'm limited in what exercise I can do due to arthritis in knees although only 41. I'm training to be a Pilates teacher and find that great as well as non impact cv too. Any suggestions or advice welcome.

Parky, have you tried searching "Paleo" online? There are tons of great recipes if you use that search term.

Hi StephenMe - fantastic accomplishment so far! What do you think has helped the most in terms of losing those 26 lbs?

Yes Parky! I'm not really exercising at all (walking occasionally) and I'm doing lower carb around 30-50 net per day. Oh my gosh the weight is almost melting off. I'm 47 and no other diet worked for me! So happy!!!

Hi Parky- Nice work on your weight loss! You are living proof of what the research shows when it comes to weight loss. There isn't one diet that works for everyone (we are all individuals) and losing weight requires a significant change in diet, though doesn't require lots of exercise. Weight maintenance however, has been shown to be most successful with 60 min of moderate activity a day. Thus activity is key to keeping it off! What are the major foods you cut out to achieve the loss? What does a typical day of food intake look like for you? How many calories do you eat each meal? Thanks for sharing what has worked for you! Best, Joanna (Dietician)
