Macros for pregnancy Topic

Is there anything I should be doing to track macros for pregnancy? Does this app support pregnancy tracking?

The app does not track pregnancy specifically.
In general, during pregnancy you need progressively more calories to support growth of the baby. Depending on your starting weight and weight gain goals, you might need an additional 300 or so calories/day during the 2nd trimester and up to 450/day extra during the third. But of course, the exact amounts depend on your height and starting weight, as well as activity level. Women who start a pregnancy while obese are typically advised to gain less than a woman starting at normal weight. This is something to discuss with your doctor.
As for macronutrients, you'll need more protein through the pregnancy. The National Academy of Sciences suggests 71 grams/day for pregnant women (vs. a very modest non-pregnancy requirement of 46 grams). So monitoring your protein might be helpful. Again, making blanket statements for a pregnancy diet is impossible, since everyone is different in terms of weight gain goals. You might find this booklet from the Institute of Medicine helpful: http://www.nap.edu/read/18292/chapter/1

One more thing: you can use this handy nutrient calculator from the Food and Nutrition Information Center (USDA) to calculate general recommendations for nutrients in pregnancy. https://fnic.nal.usda.gov/fnic/interactiveDRI/. Be sure to select the pregnancy trimester that applies in the drop down menu.
