Hi, i connected my fitbit and it is causing my calorie allowance to increase according to the number if steps I take. This is misleading because up to 5000 steps or so in my case I would burn those calories anyway. How do I remove this misleading feature and get back my calorie allowance as it was when the allowance only calculated according to what I had eaten?

Under setting>Step setting. Turn off the calorie bonus.

Hi RobinLaura- Did you try turning off the step bonus feature?
The step bonus is a feature on MND. When you created your profile, the app asked you to rate your activity level. If someone selects sedentary and they exceed 4,000 steps in a day (the expected amt of moving for someone to complete activities of daily living) then the app will automatically add bonus calories to daily exercise log for you.
The neat thing is- you can turn this feature off.
If you use an iPhone you can access this under settings (sub category Apps, Devices, Services) just like EvilFish suggested. Happy Tracking! Joanna (Dietician)
