YES HERE I AM. There hasn't been a lot of action here, but I check regularily. Not sure how I missed your post a couple of days ago, but if you would like to start a dialogue, I will be here. Looking forward to hearing from you.


Hey good to hear from you! It's hard to find new posts in the forums on the iPhone. I would love to know what groups are still active.

I've lost 5 pounds, started this week. But I usually stick with healthy eating for a month or two then give up. Not sure how to keep my motivation up.


This site will help a lot. Something that was told to me once is what made a change in my life. We have to make complete "lifestyle changes" in order to have longterm success. I never go on a diet anymore. I just try to live a different lifestyle. That includes both exercise and eating. Oh course, along the way, I have setbacks, but I know I am way healthier than I was 10 years ago. I am having trouble getting the final 20-30 lbs under control so keep seeking to both give and take support. In total I have lost about 70 lbs and trying to get down and maintain another 15-20. In my journey I am also taking a course to become a personal Trainer. Also managed to get off my High Blood pressure medication. I think that was my biggest accomplishment. The Dietician on this site is a huge asset and is available to help you through all kinds of ups and downs.


5 lbs the first week is amazing. Whatever you did you did right. Just remember, it is not unusual to have a big lose that first week, and then slow down a lot, so don't get discouraged if this happens to you. If we want long term success, we have to realize we are into healthy eating for the long term. Keep up the good work and hope to hear from you soon.


I was unable to see where you are at. Do you have 10 lbs to lose or 100. If you choose to share this info, you can change you settings for others to see. You may not want to do that, It is your chose.

That's amazing weight loss! I'm really trying to change my life, I feel like this isn't me being heavy.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to change settings on my phone. It seems like the app works halfway for the website stuff.

I have to lose about 30 and want to lose about 20 more after that.


I do use my computer when trying to change settings. I am ot sure about how to do things on the phone. You could get some advise from the forum. there always seems to be someone there with answers with everything from technical problems to nutrition or exercise questions.


Good luck with your weight lose. Hoping you have a excellent week this week. I am off to a good start with a 75 minute interval walk this morning. I was going to do strength (weight) traiining this morning, but I can't find my gym key. What the heck. Will have to line another one up for tomorrow.

Good workout yesterday and nice 60 min walk this morning. Eating was very good the last couple of days. I am feeling good and hopefully stay on track. How is everybody else doing?


I've been doing well, having a blast with frozen blended coffee or fruit. I'm worried about my splenda intake. I also got really hungry tonight while deciding if we were going out to eat and I just ate till I felt full. I'm not even sure how much I ate.

I have a hard time with the amount of oil in my dressing and oil cooked in but otherwise it was very healthy. Grilled salmon, whole wheat couscous and salad with olive oil and vinegar. I'm not too unhappy just because it was healthy. Mmm.

I ran today so that's great.


Running!! I am impressed. I always have trouble with that. I know what you are saying about the oils. It is tough sometimes. I lost track of calories Saturday night, and did not keep track today, Tomorrow back at it with both diet and exercise. We had a very busy weekend with lots and lots of celebrating Very enjoyable. Now a days I tend to just enjoy these times with some control and get back on track on Monday . Probably the reason why I am doing just so-so. Have a great week and stay in touch.


Hi LaurieCee How are things going. I Had a good week with exercise and not so good with diet. I seemed to not be able to resist a lot of cravings this week. Still, averaged about 1700 cals a day. Try to do better next week. Some of my choices were very poor this week. Like chinese food one day, with sodium intakes out of this world. I try to stay around 2300 mg of sodium, and that day it was 13000. I was shocked. Thats what you get for your momentary lapses I guess.
