How do you keep motivated to exercise in cold weather? Any suggestions/tips? All welcome:)

This has been a terrible winter here in Ohio. I have depended on using my lunch breaks at work to walk/jog on the treadmill and elliptical. I also go to Zumba when work isn't a conflict which averages between 1-3 times per week. Group exercixe helps

For me, the goal is to not be the old sick guy in 15-20 years. Staying clear of "that guy" motivates me.
Also, I use my iPad to distract me while on either my elliptical or treadmill. 45 minutes are gone before I know it.
Cheers!

I feel it in my lower back and hands, if I don't do something for a few days.
Also, I have signed up for parking about 1.5 miles away from my work, so I have to walk at least 3 miles per day to get to my office and back to the car.. no choice :-)

I go to the YMCA. I have Raynaud's and it is not fun in the winter. I try to walk at least 1.5/2 miles before work four days a week. My youngest son and I went to the Y this last Wednesday and I over did it. I am sore, sore, sore.

I’m new to this group. I use Fitbit and was previous using MyFitnessPal and am over the issues. This looks like the best app!

IJackie, you will love MND! I switched from My Fitness Pal about 5 1/2 years ago. Have been able to lose my weight and keep it off with daily tracking. LOVE MND!

We’ve been making an effort to try and enjoy our long winters again by doing things we did when we were younger, like ice skating at least once a week at different places around our city
