Multiple Sclerosis Topic

Hello! My name is Jen & was wondering if there's anyone else on here with MS? I'm a 23-year old mom and was dx in 2008 with RRMS. I am new to this and you don't have to have ms to comment!
Good luck to everyone on their weight loss goals! -Jen

Welcome to MyNetDiary, Jen. In addition to posting on these threads, please feel free to also create a group and invite others to join. Sometimes it takes several postings on forum before people catch the posts (since they get buried quickly).

Best,

Hi! I know you posted a while ago, but I just found this app and I'm really excited about it. I was dx with Clinically Isolated Syndrome in 2010 and am currently stuck with that dx b/c I have yet to have another attack. All signs point to MS though. I'm 29 and am getting married in June. I'm trying hard to change my diet and move as much as possible and I would absolutely love to chat with someone that is having the same struggles as I am. -Kassi

Hi JenniQ. I have MS too. have been diagnosed for about 22 years now with RRMS as well. I haven't tried using diet to control the disease until now.

I was also diagnosed with MS back in June 1989. That is probably the main reason I want to eat healthy food, lol

What tips do you have to stay the course when it comes to a healthy lifestyle for MS?

Thanks for sharing~ Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Reduce stress, don't overwork yourself, know your limits, and lots of prayer. Don't compete with others, compete with yourself, and give yourself alot of GRACE

@Dietician Am I missing something? I did not get a notification that you responded

Hi SandiC, those are great tips for others! Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, you won't get a notice with responses so you have to check back in with forum. Glad to hear you are focusing on a healthy lifestyle to help you manage your MS! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Thank you for responding. Notifications would be so helpful. I’ve read a lot of complaints on here about no responses to posts, and I believe that lack of notifications are the culprit
