MyNetDiary and iOS Topic

I have had myNetDiary since Android, and now I have iOS. I have an Apple watch, but I have a Withings tracker as well that I wear at night to track sleep. At the moment, I have my step count coming from iOS health through my Apple watch. In the case of an Apple watch, I don't need Withings linked as well, do I? And also, would turning on step bonus help with accuracy in this configuration?. Final question, how can I delete the link to Google Fit that I have in here without access to an Android device? (the Android I used to use is dead.) Thanks!

Hi Cambridgeport90,
Thanks for being an Android and now an iOS user!
Correct, you don't need the Withings linked if you are only using it for sleep.
The step bonus would be a great option for you now that you are using the Apple watch, especially if walking is a main form of activity for you.
Some people prefer not to use step bonus (or at least not eat the calories "earned)" if they prefer to underestimate calories burned to reach their weight loss.
Here is an article about step bonus you might find helpful:

I am going to check in with our support team about removing the link to Google Fit. Please stay tuned!

Hello Cambridgeport90,

The link to Google Fit no longer active for your account.

Thanks all! Very much appreciated! One more question ... I know that MyNetDiary can sync the activity stat from Apple Health via my Apple Watch. What data are actually included in that?

So after attempting to turn on Step Bonus, I still get the error that Google Fit link is active. Suggestions?

Hello- Sorry to hear you are still running into some hiccups. I have forwarded your concerns to our support team. Hang tight! Thanks, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Thanks!
