Naturopaths and Pregnancy Topic

Hi there. I have been trying to conceive for 3 years. I tried my first round of IVF this summer which did not work. I am now trying to loose some weight (25 lbs) before I try again. I also just started with a Naturopath who specialize in fertility. Has anyone else tried this?

Hi. I've been away for about a month, so I didn't see this until now. Sorry for the delayed response. I also did IVF but I never used a Naturopath. I can tell you that I had to use IVF to conceive my first (twins) but, later, I lost over 60 pounds and *surprise, surprise* I got pregnant on my own - totally unplanned! Crazy, but I'm certain you've heard a bunch of these types of stories before. In any case, good luck!

My RE wants me to loose 22 more lbs before my follow up appointment on dec 19th. He wanted me to do a medical weight loss program but I think I can do it on my own. The medical weight loss program costs about $10,000. I'd rather spend that money on ttc rather than loosing weight.
When I loose the 22 lbs I'll be within the guidelines for IUI... Barely. So we should be able to start that in Jan
