Hi there, this looks like the group for me!
I started logging again yesterday. I did it last summer and really stuck to it for a good couple of months before my holiday.
I’ve started to let bad habits (biscuits) creep in again.
I’m female, 42 and like to run.
I need to sort out my diet for more energy and less coughs & colds.


Hi, I’m 38 this year gone through 14 rounds of Chemo since March of 2022 to date finished my last Chemo Round on the seventh of this month I will continue immuno therapy this year.
35 rounds of intensive radiation so therefore I’m already in menopause so I feel like I fit the bill for women in their 40s! But it’s your group, so I respect that as well. During my treatment, I’ve remained physically, active as much as I could, and watched what I ate. However, I am in the same boat as madmummy above it happens slowly without realizing it until you get on the scale and you realize your numbers have crept up 😱

I used this app years ago and loved it. Since then I’ve gain an unbearable 5 stone in 7 years and it’s affecting everything about me and my life and I’ve got to make today the first step towards a healthier and much happier me!


Hi Sassy - I’m new to this app. I’m 45 and current goal is to lose 10kg. My weight crept up from drinking and then quitting - sugar cravings are real! Plus COVID didn’t help either. Need to get a bit healthier again and hopefully resolve some health issues I’m having. Would love to join the group and meet some likeminded women.

I am having such a hard time cutting back on sugar and snacks. A couple days ago I set a goal of going at least 1 day without candy and yesterday I finally managed it, but now today, being Thanksgiving, it was too hard to ignore the nummy homemade pumpkin pie and cool whip. I also had 2 candy canes and some of those werthers caramel chews. They are so good. But that pumpkin pie was practically screaming at me to eat it. Lol. Ok so that is just an excuse, but pumpkin pie is my favorite this time of year. I need to cut back big time on candy, but it is just so hard. Ok, so I will try to cut way back on candy tomorrow, maybe even try for another day of no candy. Small steps and smaller goals may be easier to achieve at this point. So, that is my goal, no candy tomorrow (black friday). Any advice for a newbie to this forum and to dieting. I am trying for a dieting kick but it is hard work when all you see near you is candy and journals and books. Not much else but my phone. So, tomorrow I will hide my candy in the morning and hopefully not being able to see it will help. Perhaps if I exercise again tomorrow to this new cardio aerobics video I got. That may help burn some of the crazy amount of calories I had today.
