New Sleever Topic

Hello Everyone! Today is one month from my VSG surgery. I am very excited to see that there is a VSG group on this app. I would love to talk to you guys and learn some tips and tricks. I have hit a bit of a stall the past 2 weeks so that has been stressing me out a little. Since surgery I am down 14lbs and 10.3 inches. From my highest I am down 26.5 lbs and 14.4 inches!!! I would love a friend who knows what I am going through to help keep me accountable. I have another 88lbs to go in order to reach my goal weight.

Marcella, our stats are close. Im 7 weeks out and down 22/24 since surgery and stalling ... Today I started using this app to track carbs, protein, water, and calories to make sure I'm not mentally miscalculating my intake. Hope we can help each other out.

Hello. I became a new sleever on November 2, 2015.
starting stats: female. 5 ft 8 in. 348 lbs.
2 weeks pre-op: 330 lbs.
November 2nd: pre-op: 319 lbs.

VSG Surgery went well, but blood pressure went haywire while in recovery...went very low. By day after surgery thoughts were I must be bleeding internally....very scared. November 4th afternoon I was being prepped for emergency open surgery, but just before doctor stopped last time in my room in ICU, my bp started slowly rising.

Needless to say the doctor himself delivered a glass of ice chips to me with a big relieved looking smile.
I was in ICU 4 days/ 3 nights...discharged from hospital Nov 6th....and we drove the 6 hours home.

Live your dreams...
Ruth

Hi everyone, I'm planning on a vsg in January. Just waiting on my cardiac and sleep clearances. I started this app 12/2/15. Start weight was 240, height 5ft.4in.
Now at 235 as I get into the habit of eating as I should and using this app.
I'm really looking forward to having you to share the journey with and get advice from.
