New to the Group! Topic

Hey guys! I'm new to the group, and I'm looking for any helpful tips or suggestions you have. I've been overweight my entire life, and I'm finally ready to stop feeling sorry for myself and put in the work it's going to take! I'd love to be in shape before I graduate college in a year and a half. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Good for you, making the choice to live a healthier life. I'm new to this whole thing too. I find I have a tough time motivating myself to workout everyday. However I'm making one of my friends be my workout buddy and hold me accountable to working out with her. Find someone who you can workout with and make it fun!

im in almost exactly the same situation. i want to be in shape within a year though. i just cant seem to stick to my plans and it is a real struggle for me recently. i have lost 30 lbs this year but now i have just been stuck at this weight. good luck! :)

But yes I too am in this situation! I've got a holiday to kavos next year and its fair to say I'm the biggest in the group so trying to get in shape for that! I've found that allowing the odd treat, as long as you balance it out throughout the rest of the day helps! Makes you feel like you're not missing out

I'm also new to the group and just looking for some motivating friends :) I'm Lana and I'm 18 and a senior. I currently weigh 118 lbs, and want to get down to 95 lbs. (Don't, worry, I'm 4'11 and that's a healthy weight for my size) I know it's going to be tough, but I can't wait to get healthy!
