Hi, I'm Barrie. I'm a 46-year old widowed mother of an 18-year old daughter. I started with a personal trainer on Dec. 21, 2012 and he encouraged me to keep a food journal which led me here. I have about 80 lbs to lose, but am more interested in going from a size 16 to a size 8-10. I was in a car accident several years ago which left me with a fused right ankle and a bum knee. My trainer is helping me to exercise so that I don't re-injure myself. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you all.


Welcome to the group Barrie. I've been working on this seriously after New Year's holiday. I've lost almost ten pounds and still have 66lbs to go. Good luck on your journey and don't over train.
