Hey all,
I recently started my weight loss journey, so I'm new here! :)
I have the MyNetDiary iPhone app, to track my weight loss. One thing that I noticed is I've not been eating enough fiber during breakfast. What are some healthy low-calorie low-carb high fiber foods?
I eat a lentil soup/ vegetarian chili or a sprouted mung muffin that I bake with no flour. Just looking for quicker breakfast options. I notice that oatmeal & walnuts have a high carb content, so I'm staying away from those. I eat wild rice for my other meals, so gotta watch my carb content during breakfast!
Have you guys heard of chia seeds? Are they any good? I saw them at my local Costco the other day - so just curious!
Thanks so much y'all ! Looking forward to hearing from you guys! :)

I get Mike's Killer Bread in the green package. It has 5g of fiber. I spread one package of Laughing Cow's spreadable cheese (like cream cheese) with cinnamon and an apple and am super filled up - even after a morning workout. Plus, cinnamon is super for metabolism! Another easy option is egg whites in a coffee cup in the microwave then top with a bit of pico and a whole wheat tortilla on the side.

Looks like we have some other west coasters on here! I am new to the group as well.
Oatmeal is a great way to get fiber in the morning. There's a bunch of recipes for the crockpot so you can make it the night before.
