New Windows app look has many problems! Topic

Today, Wednesday Oct 11, I logged in to MyNetDiary on my windows computer and discovered the "new look". Immediately there were many problems navigating. Now I have a "mystery line" with 363 calories that has no food name. The totals at the bottom show only this line, and not the other food I added.
I resent not being told about this in advance. It is a great incovenience as I use MyNetDiary every day throughout the day and have been happy with it until now.

Hey ThinkLean - I found the new appearance this morning and was also bewildered at what I thought was a step backward in usability.
BUT, GOOD NEWS - look around in the lower right-hand corner of the new food-entry page... There is, on my computer, a clickable link to return to the original page design. When I clicked that link, I was both able to return to the previous page design AND leave a helpful comment on the new design.

I was also bewildered by the new layout, and opted to return to the previous page design.

I prefer the old layout as well. I hope we always have that option to use it.
The reason I use MND as opposed to the more popular apps is because I find this layout faster which I've realized is much more critical to my adherence than anything else...especially when I'm out with friends/family and I've got a lot of things to enter at one meal.
If we ever lose that, I'd probably just switch to one of the more popular tracking devices who offer more features.

Dear Hogsfan
"the more popular apps"
I wonder if you could name some of these, please.
I have been recording everything I eat using MyNetDiary for only three months and have managed to lose 3st (42lb). This has been achieved by changing what I eat and weighing EVERYTHING I eat.
Amongst the many useful tools provided is - WAS - the weight chart showing several weeks' data alongside the weight goal. Very useful and encouraging.
The mew weight chart shows exactly one week of data. Unless you weigh yourself every day - which you should NOT because it is a waste of time and can be very demoralising - the chart is useless because your weight today is the same as it was yesterday, and the day before, and ... Utterly useless!
It is for this reason, and this reason alone, that I am now looking for a new App to record my food intake.
