Newbie :) Topic


Hi, so-so. I put this pressure on myself . Havent gained but havent lost either, I bought some of the green coffee bean supplements you were talking about. Now my only problem is remembering to take them!
As for your bottomless pit thing...I think we all get that around that time of the month& only a pound is awesome! I think you should allow a little cheat, as long as you make up for it either by better food later or more exercise.


Thanks for the encouragement! I think we all put a lot of pressure on ourselves because we remember how easy it was to lose lbs when we were younger! Now it takes so long to lose that last 10-15lbs and our weight can yo-yo from day to day. But I have to say, this is my first time joining a blog/group and it really helps me stay on track. So thank you! :)


Me too ;). I gained some weight this morning , not really surprised as we just had 2 birthday cakes sitting around the house and I have had the odd large glass of wine.
Off to the elliptical trainer this morning and see if I can rev up my metabolism


I read the posts and feel like I am looking in a mirror some days. Misery loves company and it is always comforting to know that others struggle as I do. This knowledge helps to keep you going :)


The birthday cakes kill me! I trick myself by taking a sliver and somehow, by the end of the evening, I've had a dozen slivers and the cake's almost gone! :) and yes, the elliptical always makes me feel better the next day!


This will sound silly, and its not me EVER. But no one was home this morning , i had full intention of using the elliptical trainer. A song kinda got me so I hopped off the machine thinking I would just dance! Felt like a complete idiot but I was alone so , oh well. I wound up dancing for an hour. I had a heart rate monitor on and it said I burned about 700 calories. Might be worth a try. ;)

Not silly...brilliant! Very little chance of me staying on the elliptical for an hour so the dancing is a great idea! And definitely one for me to do when no one's home. :)


Me too, I start looking around the room at things I should clean . Then exercise falls behind. The only time it doesnt is when I sign up for spin class.


Hey Lessofher- how's it going for you? I haven't lost an ounce in the last 8 days and I'm trying not to reach for the jar of Trader Joe's Cookie Butter!
