I'm new to the group and wanted to say hello. I love the MyNetDiary software. It makes tracking much easier. Seems to put the math of the matter into visual perspective, and I'm a sucker for the little icons too.

I don't know what I would do without the mydiarynet app. I log everything. I am now eating so much healthier now. I read food labels with every thing I eat now. I been using the app for about a year and lost a 55 pounds so far with 19 pounds to go. I feel so much better in both body and mind. - Good luck with your weight lost journey Need some support? I am only an email away.

Hi I just joined mynetdiary and I do like the app and the website. I have an older I pad so I can't scan the labels and get the nutrients. But I am discovery how to include things not listed. For some reason lately my sugar is running high. I am under a lot of pain stress with knees that are bone on bone and full of spurs. I have advanced arthritis in my shoulders, knees and ankles. For this week I just cut out sugary desserts and since last Friday have been tracking my food. I plan to cut out some of the unhealthy starches next week. I am trying small steps to get me back on program and start losing weight.

I am 65 and had decided this *has to be* the year I shed my unwanted and unhealthy weight. First few months of the year I lost around 10 pounds...but was truly floundering. Discovered MyNetDiary almost three weeks ago and what a difference it has made. Lost 8 pounds since signing on...only 35 pounds to go!

Hi everyone. I'm an escapee from WeightWatchers and new to this site. I'll turn 60 in a few months and have lost 20 pounds since February. I'm a cancer survivor and have dietary restrictions that require monitoring. This site does that WAY better than WWer's. So, I'm hoping to connect and find some friends so I can get back on the wagon as it were and begin losing again. I've been stalled for nearly two months. I'm starting fresh today and looking forward to new progress.

Welcome and good luck! So far I am loving this site...it has helped me gain control and loose about 12 pounds since starting in August. Lots to go...but so far so good.

Hi I'm a newbie and am enjoying the app. I have a new iPod, can anyone tell me how to scan labels?
I lost 30 lb last year but gained 8 back. Now I want to lose 20. I got a new bike for Christmas, when it stops raining I'll use it.

Hi, I'm relatively new here and restarting the healthy life. When I was about 50, I started using a program called "DietLog" on my Newton. It worked exactly the same as mynetdiary and was great because it was always there. I started out at about 240 but my main torus was healthy eating, specifically, fewer calories from fats. If one is serious about eating only a small percentage of calories as fats, it is surprising how much you need to eat to make up for that. In about 1.5 years, I weighed about 140 which felt too thin. I stopped using the program but generally stuck to the kinds of foods I'd gotten used to.
Fast forward a decade and I was just over 210 so here I am. I've been being more organized and in the first few weeks have lost about 12lbs again. This time I hope to stabilize at about 160-175.
The trick will be not to overshoot and maintenance when I get there.
