No Confidence Topic

Hello all. I've been using MyNetDiary for a long time and I'll admit that I get tired of logging every bite of food and then, I walk away for a while and don't use it (and gain more weight).
Trouble is, I've lost and gained the same 30 lbs for years.
When I was younger, I had a regular yoga practice, I was a nicotine addict and my health was pretty good.
But now, I am post-menopausal, a former smoker and I suffer with chronic stress as a result of adult bullying from a homophobic neighbor. I'm spending $$$ on attorney fees to eliminate that issue, which upsets me, because it's money that could be spent on my healthcare and my home upkeep.

Oftentimes, I eat for comfort and I eat out of boredom.
I'm at a point in my life where I no longer believe that I CAN lose weight anymore <:-(.

As I read the words that I've written here, I know what advice I would offer to someone who is reaching out for support: one day at a time, yoga and meditation will help with stress and do not play the victim. Take control of the situation, once step at a time.
Those are words on "paper".
What I really need is a support system of people who are facing similar struggles with trying to get back into a healthier lifestyle and meeting their weight loss goals.

Thank you and I hope people are out there who want to join together.

Thank you for reaching out to me, Joanna. Much appreciated.

I agree, having friends makes you accountable. I use another weight loss site and found some friends who are supportive. I'm trying out this site to see if it is a better fit.

If you would like to be friends, please feel free to add me. I'm new to this site and getting use to the format.
