Hi All,
I have decided to buy a premium member to get access to premium recipes. The only problem that I have is when I am choosing a premium recipe meal let`s say Chicken Pasta diner which is saved in the recipes as 4 servings I cant change serving into 1 in the recipe to see ingredients for only one portion instead of 4 ! yes it is saved in the meal plan as 1 portion and calories are saved as well, but when I am doing my shopping list and previously I have printed my recipe, this recipe still shows 4 portions !! this draw me mad as I dont want to spend another evening changing recipe just only for 1 portion :(
pls help !

Hello Dorota1987,
I hope you are enjoying the premium recipes, other than this issue!
I understand what you are saying, that the program does not alter the ingredient amounts after you change the serving size and save the recipe as a custom recipe. I believe this is to avoid odd amounts of ingredients populating (for example, 2/3 of a chicken breast or 3/8th tsp of pepper). You would have to modify each ingredient, which can be time-consuming.
I will check with our developers to see if there are any workarounds for this.
Best,

It might be easier and more efficient to just make the recipe for four, then divide it up after you make it and freeze the other 3 portions for another time.

Great idea! Thanks for sharing. I think batch cooking and then freezing is a great way to go. Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
