Protein for Gaining Muscle Topic

Hello, my goal is to gain muscle & lose weight.

I’m currently 200 lbs. do you believe in the 1 gram of protein per pound you weigh? I’ve heard some nutritionists have suggested to stray away.

Also, when is the best time to consume protein after a work out?

Real food. Stay away from process foods. Keep carbs around 100g-200g.

Plus get your fibre up!

Hi U1193857678,
Great question! Sports nutrition experts advise healthy people without kidney disease should strive for intakes of 0.8 grams of protein per pound body weight when trying to build muscle. Here are some excellent expert articles to provide guidance and tips for getting protein in your diet.
