Just started my program a couple of days ago and started a nutritution college class. I've learned much in this short time, hope to learn more and most of all lose some pounds.
My outlook is good, my biggest problem is that I am so tempted to eat more. Mostly in between meal times. How do you correct this? Also, I have going to bed much earlier than I have in the past. What's up with that?

I don't know if this will work for you, but I eat 5 smaller meals a day. I try to space them out every 3 hours or so. It has worked pretty good for me. Like I said, I don't know if that is the proper way, but I have been fairly successful with it. I just try to make sure that I stay at the daily calorie limit! Good luck to you!

Thanks for the information. I heard eating smaller meals like you said is better. I think it kills the hunger pangs when there is too much time between meals.

Most definitely it helps me! I don't think I could go 5 or 6 hours between eating unless I am extremely busy. Good luck to you! You can do it!

Restarted my weight loss program after stopping. Try until you succeed!

I am still trudging along. I have lost 23 lbs, and my pants are starting to feel loose around my waist, which has moved from 44 to 42. I am exercising six days a week (walking, cycling, an weights) with one day of rest. Since I stopped drinking in March, which is where a lot of my calories were coming from, I pretty much have a calorie deficit. Feels good to wake up without the effects of alcohol. Pretty much on a new journey in my life and waiting to see where it takes me!
