i'm looking forward to that fall weather here too; still hot and sticky a bit but the leaves will start falling soon; as for my progress as of late, all is moving along pretty well; as of today I am down 100lbs since last 1 Nov; no meds/insulin; body fat % down from 58% to 28%; food plan mediterranean style continues with high protein low carb intake in general; treadmille cardio 30min no change; weight training continues, with slight increase in lbs lifted on dumbells per weight dr's guidance; he also suggested adding floor exercises, so i added some planks, leg lifts etc. i picked up from a little app for the iphone; weight dr. is now recommending i target a lower body fat % with 15-18% as the target; seems hard to get to for me, but will give it my best effort; MND app and Kathy's guidance to all of our members continues to sustain my progress; hope all of this helps someone out there: don't quit no matter what! pray hard and work hard and you will achieve your goals-- MtnDog

Again, congrats MtnDog! That lower BF goal can take time so don't feel like it has to happen overnight. Just keep at it as you have done. 100 lbs. Wow.

thanks much Kathy; charts indicate my weight loss is slowing; but i don;t mind; i really enjoy the smaller clothes sizes; don't have to go to the Big Man's store anymore! much feedback from friends; many have inquired and i am sharing lessons learned with many folks now; so overall i am pleased; with my calorie reduced lifestyle (800-1500) i suspect that long term there will be other benefits yet to be discovered; just anecdotal but i will report as i can confirm any changes; hope it helps someone: vr MtnDog
