1/4 cup shelled (50 halves) Walnuts raw

  • Wash, dry and chop endive lettuce. Place in large bowl.
  • Wash and core apple. Cut into cubes and add to bowl.
  • Cut cheese into cubes and add to bowl.
  • In dry skillet, heat walnuts until aromatic, stirring as they heat up.
  • In a small bowl, mix together vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Pour over salad.
  • Dice chives and sprinkle over top.
