8 ingredients
1 medium, about 2.5" diameter Apples with skin raw
1/4 cup shelled (50 halves) Walnuts raw
2 cup Oatmeal or rolled oats regular or quick dry uncooked
2 cup Milk low fat 1% milkfat
1 large egg Egg whole raw
1/2 cup Applesauce canned unsweetened with added ascorbic acid
4 sprays, about 1/3 second each spray Vegetable cooking spray oil
6 steps
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Peel and chop apple.
- Chop walnuts.
- Mix together all ingredients in a bowl.
- Spray a 9 in x 13 in baking dish with pan spray. Pour ingredients into dish.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until firm. Serve and enjoy!
Tips:
This is a nice casserole to refrigerate and have for the week.
After reheating, top it with 1/4 cup milk and fresh fruit (and log those additional items).
