Preheat oven to 400F.
Wash asparagus and snap off wooded ends.
Spray cooking spray on cookie sheet.
Place asparagus on cookie sheet. Top with olive oil, salt, pepper and mix evenly.
Place in the oven and roast for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir.
Return to oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the asparagus is fork tender.
Remove from heat, let cool for 1 minute and transfer to 2 plates. Top with sesame seeds.
