Ok so I've been using this app for almost 6 months I've lost over 60lb and I'm thrilled!
However I want to stay motivated to loose the same amount again. (I am still over 16stone)
I thought I would start a thread that will help me keep it up.
What has made you smile or still makes you smile about gaining control over your weight:
Mine for example are:
I can buy clothes 3 sizes smaller than in January! In fact most of the time I'm a smaller size now than I think I will be when buying clothes instead of needing bigger ones after trying them on.
I don't get out of breath walking so badly like I used to... Generally I sleep better and have more energy!
My high heels don't hurt so much these days they were becoming unbearable when I was at my biggest.
What can you said that's positive about your losses to help keep us all on track?

I've been combining this app with doing Insanity and I'm coming into week 3 of both... This is the first time I have actually kept track of everything I eat, and committed to exercising daily. On top of Insanity I'm walking 30 minutes each lunch hour with a coworker. With all of this work, I'm already seeing great rewards. It makes me smile that my clothes are already starting to fit correctly and that when I look in the mirror I can see a definite change in my body. I still have a ways to go, but it is so exciting seeing a transformation starting so soon. Every tiny change motivates me to keep on trucking so I can keep seeing bigger changes.

A coworker stopped me in the kitchen today and said that she had a dinner with a former co-worker who left a little over a month ago. She said that she told our friend that if she saw me today she wouldn't believe how good I look and that I was the new office inspiration :)

Hi Ladies, I am just looking for some support in my weight loss journey. I am 5'5" and I weight 225. I was a gymnast for 13 years and don't have a hard time working out but then I ruin it all by eating too much. I am feeling extra guilty and gross today since last night I ate a little debbie pie, a bear claw and a piece of banana cream pie. I don't know why I do it. I feel like I am rewarding myself at the time but really I am just setting myself up for failure and wasting my time working out each day. I just need some strong supportive girls who would be willing to either text or even keep up a phone conversation about weigh in and any tips or tricks. Just someone to make me feel like I am letting them down if I mess up because apparently it's not enough to just let myself down. i am a nursing student and I know how to do this correctly but I need to support. Please contact me, I would love ladies or guys too :)

The greatest achievement that I've felt so far has nothing to do with my personal weight loss. My parents are in their 60's and noticed I had lost some weight (about 15lbs at that time) and inquired as to how I had done it. I told them I was counting calories with my phone and using a fit bit to motivate me to move more. They wanted to know what specifically I was eating so I told them: nothing special, but more simple foods. I came over the next week and they had ordered their own fit bits on Amazon and had their own tracking systems on their phones (not MND). I was floored and proud of them. My mom even caught my dad on the treadmill in the middle of the night trying to add steps (they usually used it to hold dry cleaning). They have both lost weight and continue to do so. This makes me so happy and inspires me to keep going because I feel like its only gonna make them live longer!

Something positive is I am thinking of starting a group at my church with a Christian weight loss program and have had a good response on others interested. Which means I would be helping others!
